Aftonbladet carried out an extensive test of products on the Swedish e-bike market, which has expanded significantly in recent years. The vast majority of customers who are interested in an e-bike see cycle commuting as the major advantage, as it makes possible a convenient and intelligent alternative to a car or public transport.

And we are proud and happy to present the results of a test that names our EcoRide Sense e-bike as Best in Test.

The EcoRide Sense (now the Ambassador AXS M-8) is a premium e-bike from our Comfort series, with an advanced mid-drive motor from Shimano STEPS. The model is much appreciated as it is equipped with both an effective foot brake and a hydraulic disc brake system, taking function and feel to a very high level. The aluminium frame with central battery position gives excellent balance, contributing to an electric assist that works in perfect harmony when you're riding the bike.

Comments on the e-bike test:
Our favourite. EcoRide’s city bike is attractive, comfortable and has a good range with a powerful battery. All the parts are attractive and look sturdy and good quality. The basket reminds me of one I had on a Post Office bike when I worked for them in my student years. It can also cope with a good load without the bike becoming wobbly. The position of the battery made it a little tricky to dismount sometimes. But it’s easy to cycle. You sit upright and cycle easily and smoothly without getting sweaty.
