Rear hub

The rear hub is the centre of the back wheel where the rotation mechanism is. The spokes are attached to the hub, and hold the rim of the wheel in place. E-bike rear hubs are available in many different versions in variations such as gear hubs, electric motor hubs and standard hubs. All of these variations are available in versions with, for example, a bracket for disc brakes or drum brakes and a bracket for the cassette or freewheel system.
